It’s amazing what people can do when they work together. Panama City Beach, Florida beachgoers came together Saturday to help save a family from drowning.
Roberta Ursrey was enjoying a day at the beach when she noticed her sons were too far from shore. Her boys were screaming, so she and other family members swam to them, but they became trapped in a rip current. Nine people were trapped in 15 feet of water. When other beachgoers became aware of the people in trouble they went into action to save them. The group of strangers formed an 80 person human chain and starting with the children the rescuers passed the swimmers through the human chain to safety.
