Kidd’s Kids Foundation Gives Local Boy a Dream Vacation to Disney World.

Dreams do come true…..just ask 5 year old Jaxson Shults!

Jaxson’s dream was to one day meet Mickey Mouse. Thanks to the Kidd’s Kids Day Foundation, created by late Radio Star Kidd Kraddick, this dream is now becoming a reality!

Kidd Kraddick founded Kidd’s Kids in 1991. His dream was to make a difference in the lives of children and families who were dealing with life altering conditions. The foundation, now in it’s 26th year, has sent over 1000 kids and their families on a trip of a lifetime to Walt Disney World.

This year, Jaxson and his family received one of the Kidd’s Kids Day Dream Vacation packages. My co-host, James Steele, and I invited Jaxon, his brother Seth and their mom Heather into the 1071 The Monkey studio to talk about their upcoming trip.

Video: James Steele, Jaxon and Seth enjoy a game of Janga while I talked with Jaxson’s mother, Heather Shults, about their upcoming trip and the impact Kidd’s Kids Day has had on their family.

Meet Jaxson, he’s one of our local KIDD’s KIDS Day recipients. Jaxson is 5 years old. He lives with Muscular Dystrophy. Jaxson and his family are receiving a free Disney World vacation from Kidd's Kids Foundation.
