I was experiencing a bit of the after holiday blues and didn’t want to take down my Christmas Tree so I decided to transform it into a Mardi Gras Tree. Keep in my this is my first attempt at a Mardi Gras Tree and I happen to suck at DIY projects.
How To Make a Mardi Gras Tree:
- Take Christmas decorations off tree.
- Randomly place Mardi Beads on tree.
- Adorn with anything you can find as long as it’s purple, green or gold.
And that’s pretty much it. Here’s how mine turned out…..be nice…it was my first attempt.
Here are a few much cooler Mardi Gras Trees I found on Instagram.
This is how we do it in the South! Take down the Christmas Ornaments and Decorate for MARDI GRAS!! 👑🎭🎷🎭🎺🎭 Anyone else celebrate? We love this holiday and it’s roots date back in the US to Mobile, AL which is only 45 minutes from me. Most people think of New Orleans but it’s all over the south! #mardigras2018 #mardigraspensacola #mardigrastree #
