Pet of the Day: Gage, was a burn victim who’s now healthy, happy and ready for a loving home! Read his story here.

Gage came into the Humane Society of South Mississippi as a badly injured burn victim with a terrible case of heart worms. HSSM provided treatment for his burns and heart worms. He’s been at the shelter, under loving care of HSSM volunteers, for a year and he’s now available for adoption. Over the past year, Gage has become a “SpokesDog”as he has traveled with HSSM volunteers to local schools to help educate children on how to properly handle and care for dogs. Gage’s new home must be a one dog home. If you’re interested in adopting this very special boy please contact the Humane Society of South Mississippi at 228-863-3354.
