Kitten Stops Traffic, Local Fire Fighter to the Rescue!

Another kitten is making news for stopping traffic after being saved by a local firefighter.  Earlier this month, Gulfport Police Officer Mike Hauler, stopped traffic on Hwy 49 to rescue a kitten.

Today, another kitten was stranded on Hwy 49 and this time an off-duty Gulfport firefighter came to it’s rescue. The scared kitty managed to climb into an SUV’s engine compartment and the off-duty firefighter, along with other good samaritans who stopped to help out were able to safely remove the kitten.  Highway Patrol also pitched in to help by stopping to help with traffic control.
