OK, I’m not gonna lie…. I am STOKED over the chance of snow this week! Sure….it’s a 50/50 chance but I’m a “glass is half full” kinda girl so I’m betting on snow.

Cold Weather Shelters WILL be Open this week for those in need of a warm place to stay:
- Salvation Army Cold Weather Shelter is opening shelters in Gulfport from 4pm-8am and Pascagoula 4:30pm-8am starting Wednesday and through Saturday night.
- Hancock County’s cold weather shelter will be open Wednesday night at the Old Spanish Trail Baptist Church located at 5078 Hwy 90. Shelter will be open Wednesday through Friday, 6pm-9am. Anyone needing a ride to the shelter can contact the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department at (228) 255-9191.
- The D’Iberville multipurpose building, located near the civic center, will operate as a cold shelter starting Wednesday night at 5:30pm until Sunday morning.
